Per FTC guidelines (ftc.gov), claims like "compatible with all compact loaders" have to be substantiated. In practice, that means a manufacturer should be able to show you the specs. If they can't, that's not proof the product is bad. It's proof that you need to ask more questions.
The other reason is language. We call these "aftermarket parts" or "universal attachments," which makes them sound simple. But "universal" in the attachment world usually means "fits the main mounting pattern." It doesn't mean the hydraulics are matched, the weight is balanced, or the operator's sight line is good. The Solution: A Pre-Order Check
